Manage custom agreement types

When you add an agreement in Snow License Manager, you must specify what kind of agreement it is, for example, a software agreement or a support agreement. If none of the pre-defined agreement types apply, you can create your own custom agreement types. The new custom agreement type is then added to the list of agreement types, and you can select it the next time you add an agreement.

View custom agreement types

1. On the Agreements menu, select Custom agreement types.

2. Select a custom agreement type to see the details.

Add custom agreement types

1. On the Agreements menu, select Custom agreement types.

2. Select Add agreement type.

3. On the General tab, do the following:

   1. Enter a Name and a Description for the agreement type.

   2. To enable attachment of computers to agreements of this type, select Computer attachments active.

   3. To enable attachment of objects to agreements of this type, select Object attachments active.

4. On the Custom information tab, enter information and values in the custom fields that are available for the Agreement category. For more information, see Enter custom field information.

5. Select Save.

Edit custom agreement types

1. On the Agreements menu, select Custom agreement types.

2. Select the agreement type that you want to edit.

3. Add or edit the applicable information, see Add custom agreement types.

4. Select Save.

Delete custom agreement types

• If you have agreements of this custom agreement type in your environment, Delete is not available.

• When you delete a custom agreement type, it is removed from the system and it cannot be restored.

1. On the Agreements menu, select Custom agreement types.

2. Select the agreement type that you want to delete.

3. Select Delete.

4. Select OK to confirm.
